I delighted in an extra warm weekend with a sheer maxi dress and squeezing in as much as events and to-do list tackling as I could. I first styled this pretty dress for the Bella Furs event in town where I help to style clients for a couple hours and snapped photos of the gorgeous furs, a mix of new and vintage pieces.
And then I headed home and threw on my “The Future is Female” tee (from the Studd) for $30, part of sales benefit Planned Parenthood) and James and I headed down to Women’s March at the state capitol. And then laundry, vacuuming and other not-so-fun chores took place.
STYLING SHEER :
Tip for styling something sheer like this? Add a lacy bralette. I didn’t realize the top of the dress is completely sheer at first, but nothing a bralette can’t address. I have several that cover more or less and I found that this deep neckline one blended in with the dress the best. I’m normally in push-up bra to get these boobies up and looking bigger, but it was all about downplaying that with this dress.
